Celebrate Women’s History Month!
March is National Women’s History Month and as a means of recognizing Women’s History and continuing to have disability be a part of the conversation, we will be hosting a Twitter Chat on March 15, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. EST..
Our chat will be a conversation about the experiences of women, and some of the issues that they face at home, at work and connecting with the world.
We are pleased to have Kings Floyd, HSC Youth Transitions Fellow for the National Council on Independent Living (@youth_fellow) to help moderate as we engage on questions about mentorship, understanding disability as a part of your identity, how to be a good ally, and positive examples of women with disabilities that we should seek to know more about.
